Three typhoons will occur in the near future

2025-07-25

The center of Typhoon No.7 of this year, "Fanaska" (tropical storm level), was located about 385 kilometers southeast of the border between Zhejiang and Fujian in the southern part of the East China Sea at 5 a.m. today (25th), at 26.7 degrees north latitude and 124.3 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind speed near the center was 8 on the Beaufort scale (18 meters per second), and the minimum central pressure was 995 hectopascals. The radius of the seventh-level wind circle is 100 to 260 kilometers.

Typhoon No. 8 of this year, "Zhujie Cao", made landfall along the coast of Agno in the northwest of the Philippines at around 10:40 p.m. yesterday (24th) (strong tropical storm level, 30 meters per second, 978 hectopascals). At 5 a.m., its center was located off the coast of Fernando, Philippines, at 16.7 degrees north latitude and 120.3 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind speed near the center is 11 on the Beaufort scale (30 meters per second), the minimum central pressure is 978 hPa, the radius of the 7-level wind circle is 120 to 200 kilometers, and the radius of the 10-level wind circle is 20 to 30 kilometers.

In addition, the center of Typhoon No. 9 of this year, "Rosa" (tropical storm level), was located about 290 kilometers northwest of Saipan, Guam at 5 a.m. today (25th), that is, at 16.8 degrees north latitude and 143.6 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind speed near the center was 8 on the Beaufort scale (18 meters per second), and the minimum central pressure was 998 hpa. The radius of the seventh-level wind circle is 160 to 260 kilometers. It is expected that "Rosa" will move in a northeasterly direction at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity. In the future, "Rosa" will have no impact on the near-sea areas of our country.

From last night to this morning, Typhoon No. 8, "Zhujie Cao", made landfall twice on the west side of Luzon Island in the Philippines. In the future, as you pass through Luzon Island and continue moving northeastward, the intensity will gradually weaken. Neither "Bamboo joint grass" nor "Fansgao" is likely to land in our country.
